Inter and Romelu Lukaku have always been on the same page since his return but it seems that could change after the last couple of games.

Lukaku got injured earlier on in the season and got back playing with Belgium at the World Cup after which h he returned to Inter.

He has since played a couple of games albeit unconvincingly since the restart of the league with his performances in those games giving a sign of worry more than assurance.

The 29 year old looks heavy and out of form, he started in the victory against Napoli but was hauled off and was relegated to the bench in the next game against Monza.

He’s been diagnosed of another injury following the game against Monza and has been ruled out of the Coppa Italia game against Parma on Tuesday while his availability for the weekend game remains in doubt.

Gazzetta dello Sport after dissecting the situation writes that Inter could possible opt against a renewal and instead send the striker back to Chelsea in the summer should he not improve his form and fitness.

Meanwhile…

Italian striker Andrea Belotti could be leaving AS Roma just six months after joining the club.

Reports from La Nazione have it that the 29 year old is not in coach Jose Mourinho’s plans and will be allowed to leave the club should the right offers come in.

Belotti has six months left on his one year deal which carries an automatic two year extension upon reaching certain performance related clauses which looks far fetched considering he’s only played 362 minutes of league football this season.

The Calcinate born striker scored 113 goals in 251 appearances for Torino in seven years before joining the capital club on a free transfer at the beginning of the current season.
