Inter Miami CF has officially completed the permanent transfer of goalkeeper Rocco Ríos Novo from the Argentine club Lanús, according to a team announcement on Thursday.

More Details

The 23-year-old shot-stopper, who originally joined Miami on loan for the 2025 season, has signed a multi-year deal through 2028-29, with a club option to extend into 2029-30.

Ríos Novo took over starting duties from fellow Argentine Óscar Ustari late last season.

He played a pivotal role in the club’s recent success, featuring in the starting XI during their 2025 MLS Cup victory against Vancouver Whitecaps.

The move secures a key piece of Miami’s defense for at least the next four seasons.
