Inter Miami CF Complete Permanent Transfer Of Rocco Ríos Novo
Inter Miami CF has officially completed the permanent transfer of goalkeeper Rocco Ríos Novo from the Argentine club Lanús, according to a team announcement on Thursday.

The 23-year-old shot-stopper, who originally joined Miami on loan for the 2025 season, has signed a multi-year deal through 2028-29, with a club option to extend into 2029-30.

Ríos Novo took over starting duties from fellow Argentine Óscar Ustari late last season.
He played a pivotal role in the club’s recent success, featuring in the starting XI during their 2025 MLS Cup victory against Vancouver Whitecaps.
The move secures a key piece of Miami’s defense for at least the next four seasons.

Inter Miami kicks off their 2026 campaign on February 21 with a high-profile away match against LAFC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, airing at 9:30 pm ET on Apple TV.
Shortly after, the club celebrates a major milestone on April 4 by hosting Austin FC at 7:30 pm ET for the grand opening of their new home, Miami Freedom Park.
