Neymar has been mostly poor for the Saudi Arabian team, although he is presently playing with Al Hilal. He has only made three league appearances and has not yet scored a league goal for the team.
Regarding Neymar’s possible transfer, the Fire chose not to comment. Chicago Fire’s interest in Neymar was first reported by Santi Aouna, and ESPN later revealed that two other teams are also interested in the forward.
There seems to be growing interest in Neymar joining the top division in North America. Although Inter Miami is still the front-runner to sign him, new manager Javier Mascherano claimed that it would be prohibitive to add him under the existing MLS regulations. For the Fire and other MLS teams, all of that creates opportunities.
This would be one of the biggest arrivals in MLS history, as the Fire have been connected to a number of well-known players since former USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter arrived.

With 204 league goals in 340 games when healthy, Neymar is one of the top attacking players in the world. In addition, he is a fantastic playmaker who has assisted on 83 goals while playing for PSG and Barcelona.
However, his history of injuries is worrisome. Since his final season with Barcelona in 2016–17, he has not participated in more than 25 games in a single season.
Neymar’s contract expires in June, so his future is still up in the air. Until then, there will be a lot of speculation.
