With this injury, he’s expected undergo surgery as soon as possible, and with this type of injury, it is almost certain that he would be out for at least, 5 months or more.

Between recovery and regaining match fitness, so the Nerazzurri are now considering their options in the transfer market, but they’re more likely to rely on the free transfer market. Consequently, they’ve reportedly set their sights on Marcos Alonso and Layvin Kurzawa, while one of their former player, Ivan Perisic also remains an option.

According to Gazzetta, Marcos Alonso, an ex-Fiorentina, Chelsea, and Barcelona player, is one player that fits the profile for the club, a low cost option, but with experience. The Spaniard has just left Barcelona after two years at the club and is available on a free transfer.French left-back Kurzawa is another option and he’s also available on a free transfer after the end of his contract with PSG.

According to the report, Kurzawa has already been offered to several Serie A clubs, but his lack of playing time over the last few years has discouraged Italian sides from making offers at this stage. For Perisic, he’s well known to the coach and the club, so should have less time settling down, but his age (35yrs) could be the biggest obstacle, unlike for Alonso (33yrs)and Kurzawa (31yrs).

Meanwhile…

The Beneamata are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Venezia midfielder Tanner Tessmann, according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, and the deal will see Gaetano Oristanio go the other way in addition to a fee (nominal).

Inter have identified Venezia midfielder Tessmann as a player for the future, plus the fact that he’s American, just like the new owners of the club, Oaktree, so he holds a special appeal, but that doesn’t take away the fact that the 22-year-old is a fine player in his own rights. Inter don’t plan to keep him, because they are already stacked in the midfield, so, he’s seen as a player for the future.

Therefore, the plan would be to sign him this summer, and then loan him back to Venezia for next season. However, according to the Italian transfer expert, the former FC Dallas player has not yet agreed on the move. He would prefer to join a team that would offer him regular playing time. Even if Inter do not loan Tessmann back to Venezia, he could still go out on a different loan next season.
