In what was an expected news, newly crowned Serie A champions, Inter Milan Have announced their partnership with Swedish betting company, Betsson Sport for the next four years. The logo of the brand will appear on the front of the Nerazzurri shirt, which will also feature the second star for the first time.

The growth of the Inter brand in recent seasons culminated in winning the 2023/24 Scudetto. This achievement means that Inter will have a second star on their jerseys next season, after winning their 20th Scudetto in the just concluded season, and perhaps played a huge role in reaching an agreement of this magnitude.

While there is a rule banning clubs from having betting sponsors on their front jersey, the company created a special project, the Betsson Sport Club project, an initiative created by Betsson Sport that aims to promote participating clubs. The betting company that recently celebrated its 60th anniversary last year, will appear on the front of the men’s first team shirts in all of next season’s games.

From the Serie A, to the Coppa Italia and Italian Supercup, the new Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place between June and July 2025 in the USA. “We are so proud to be able to announce this incredible partnership. They will be replacing Paramount as the front short sponsors. Betsson Group’s sponsorship portfolio extends globally, with a strong presence in various sports and football clubs.

In Latin America, Betsson is the main sponsor of Boca Juniors, Racing Club de Avellaneda and Atlético Nacional. In Italy, they’ve a partnerships with clubs such as SSC Napoli, Torino FC and Francesco Totti as ambassador. For Inter, this is a huge feat, after recently announcing their partnership with Qatar Airways.


Argentina assistant coach Walter Samuel has revealed that the Albiceleste staff are “very happy” with the performances of Lautaro Martinez, in a press conference during the Copa America. The legendary former Nerazzurri and Roma defender praised the 26-year-old striker.

He is currently the leading goal scorer at the tournament for Argentina with four goals after three games as they look to retain the title they won in 2021. The Inter captain bagged a brace against Peru, after scoring one each in the previous matches. Now, the 26-year-old will head into the knockout rounds with his national team.

However, there is no guarantee that Martinez will be in the starting eleven for Argentina throughout the knockouts. The Inter captain did not start in either of the Albiceleste’s first two group stage. Rather, it was Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez who led the line from the first minute in those two matches.

But Argentina assistant coach Samuel said that “We have full confidence in all 26 players in the squad. “Lautaro Martinez is doing very well,” the former defender continued. “We’re all very happy with him.” He further added.
