Currently on loan at Empoli, the Italian U21 striker has scored nine goals for the Azzurri already this season and has credited Lukaku and Conte for his improvement.“I’ve heard so many times that I was wasting one year, but it’s not like that,” he told DAZN.“

Despite not playing regularly, I learned so much, maybe more than ever. I was aware of my choice. I knew Inter were full of champions, but my agent and I decided to stay to work with Conte. I knew he could teach me a lot.”

The Italian tactician remained in charge of the Nerazzurri for two seasons winning the first Serie A title for Inter in 11 years. He left the club by mutual agreement at the end of the campaign, signing with Tottenham at the beginning of November.

“I’ve learnt a lot from the coach and the teammates,” continued Pinamonti.“Romelu Lukaku is a good giant, one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He is so calm and I have excellent memories of him. Many times we laughed together and he gave me tips.

“The most useful one is how to use the body. He kept telling me that it’s something crucial for a striker and I am trying to put it into practice this season. ”Pinamonti made ten appearances for Inter in all competitions last season en route to winning the Scudetto before joining Empoli on loan at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season where he’s currently looking to help the club escape relegation.

But, let’s see because it will be one of the big names on the market.”Chelsea could have an edge over other rivals due to the midfielder idolizing the Chelsea number seven as said in a recent interview. “It is a pleasure to have N’Golo again (in the France squad).
