He has found himself behind Edin Dzeko, Lautaro and even Correa, who was bought before the ended of the transfer window from Lazio.
While he got injured, which prevented him from playing in the early start of the season, he’s now fit and has been scoring goals anytime he’s called upon but the player is said to be growing frustrated with playing a part role in the team and would like to play more.
To this end, Spanish sides, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are said to be monitoring the situation closely and getting ready to make a move on him.
No concrete offers have yet come in for the Chilean, but with the recent appointment of Xavi Hernandez as coach of Barcelona, Xavi would like to have the player at his disposal to help implement his style of play especially on the younger players at the club, as they played together at Barcelona one time, hence he understands what is required.
While a move to Atletico Madrid seems most unlikely as the Los Rojiblancos already have plenty of strikers available in the team, hence he would still be subjected to playing the role of impact player from the bench, his high salary will also be another stumbling block as this (high salary) is one of the reasons why Inter Milan are looking to offload him in the first place.
Meanwhile…
English side, Chelsea are said to be considering returning Spanish midfielder, Saul Niguez to Atletico Madrid as early as January.

The Spaniard joined the Blues over the summer on an initial loan deal but has failed to impress at the Stamford Bridge. Saul has played just 438 minutes in eight games under Thomas Tuchel, and it’s thought that the London club have no intention of triggering the option to buy they retain in his loan deal.
In fact, they may try to send the midfielder back to Madrid in January. With a transfer value of about €40 million, it remains to be seen where his next destination will be as he really pushed for a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano side.
