Despite the recent words of assurance from Simone Inzaghi, the coach of current Serie A champions, Inter Milan, the club will be forced to let go off their Argentine talent, Valentin Carboni, but the idea is to let him leave on a temporary basis, while the club retains control over the player whom they believe will become a top talent in the future.

Consequently, the Nerazzurri have drawn up a new long-term contract for him as they prepare to complete a loan deal with Olympique Marseille. It has already been made clear that they valued the 19-year-old Argentinian forward highly this summer, setting a €40m price tag on the talented teenager.

When concrete offers did not arrive, the club decided to pursue a loan move for the player. Marseille are seriously interested in signing Carboni and are looking to set up a loan deal with a €35-36m buy option attached. Inter don’t want to lose control of the teenager, so are pushing for a €40-45m buy-back clause to be included in the deal.
According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Inter are ready to set up a new five-year contract for Carboni, worth a little over €1m net per season plus add-ons, a sign of their trust in the talented teenager. He’ll put pen to paper on the contract after his return to the Lombardy capital on August 8th, before heading over to France to complete a loan move to Marseille, where he’s hoping for regular minutes under Roberto De Zerbi.
But he’s not the only exit for the reigning champions, as the club is also on the verge of agreeing a deal worth €5 million for midfielder Lucien Agoume, with Spanish side, Sevilla, according to Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio. He reports that Inter will also be entitled to a 50% sell-on fee as part of the deal. Midfielder Agoume spent the second half of last season on loan with Sevilla in Ligue 1.

The Frenchman spent the 2020-21 season at Spezia. Then, during the 2021-22 campaign he was back in his native France with Brest. He was also back in Ligue 1 the following campaign, on loan with Troyes. Having not left Inter for another loan last summer, Agoume joined Sevilla last January.
The Andalusians beat Marseille to sign the 22-year-old. At the end of the half-season loan deal, Sevilla had a purchase option on Agoume. They could have signed the Frenchman on a permanent basis for a fee of €8 million. However, Sevilla declined the exercise that purchase option. Therefore, Agoume returned to Inter.
That does not mean, however, that the Spanish club lost their interest in signing Agoume. The 22-year-old’s performances over the second half of last season convinced Sevilla.
However, the Spaniards wanted to negotiate a lower fee. And according to the report, Inter and Sevilla have agreed a fee of €5 million. The clubs are just working out the final details of the transfer. Also, another member of the team, Marko Arnautovic could also push for an exit this summer.

With the arrival and current form of Mehdi Taremi, the former Bologna striker will find himself behind the Iranian as backup to the starting pair of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, hence, he could push for an exit where he would get regular playing time, with the Turkish League and Saudi Arabia his most likely destination.
