Inter Now Have An Agreement With Luis Henrique As They Turn Their Attention Towards Dutch Midfield Talent

Now a report from Footmercato claim that Inter have sealed personal terms for a five-year deal that will run to June 2030.

The club still needs to work out payment terms with his club to purchase the player, but had already made a proposal worth €24m plus another €4m in bonuses, while Marseille is hoping to see him for €30m, the two parties can meet in the middle.

Inter hope that they can have Luis Henrique in place to feature in the Club World Cup from mid-June to July, taking advantage of the extra transfer window. The 23-year-old Brazilian found the net nine times this season with eight assists in 32 competitive appearances. He plays primarily on the right wing, but can also be moved to the left when required.

His current contract with Marseille runs to June 2028, as he was purchased from Tres Passos for €8m in September 2020, so it would be a huge gain for Marseille if they can even sell him at the current quoted price. In a related development, the Beneamata have also joined the likes of Roma and Feyenoord in the hunt for Twente attacking midfielder Sem Steijn.

This according to a separate report from De Telegraaf. The report from Netherlands has it that Steijn has a release clause of €10 million, and Feyenoord have made a €7 million offer for the 23-year-old. Steijn has been one of the breakout players in the Eredivisie this season and the young attacking midfielder has spent three seasons at Twente.

He joined the club from ADO Den Haag in the summer of 2022 and in each of his three seasons with Twente, he has increased his goal total. This season, he has scored 25 goals in all competitions, 22 of these have come in the Eredivisie and then, he has also impressed in the Europa League this season.

With his fine performance in a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford worth a huge mention. Hence, there is a very high feeling that this will be the summer that he will be sold Twente due to a strong interest from top European clubs, even though he recently extended his contract with the club.

He signed a new deal until the end of June 2028, but as part of this agreement, there are conditions for an exit that would be favourable to both club and player. Steijn has a release clause in his deal worth €10 million, according to the source. The report also anticipate that Feyenoord are the team with the strongest interest in Steijn as they’re keen to keep him in the Eredivisie.

However, from outside of the Dutch league, two Serie A clubs have also been mentioned as major admirers of Steijn as Inter and Roma have also made inquiries. Furthermore, they report that Feyenoord have already made an offer of €7 million for Steijn. However, they have not put in a bid that would trigger his €10 million release clause.
