Inter Plan Swoop For Nandez And Telles

Inter continue to look for reinforcements in the transfer market as the club hopes to provide Simone Inzaghi with a competitive squad for the new season.
According to several reports from Italy, the Italian champions are looking to fill in their left wing back and right wing back slots, with potential moves for Manchester United’s Alex Telles and Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez on the cards.
Nandez, 25, joined Cagliari two seasons ago and has shown be a reliable player for the club based in Sardinia. Inter would like to have the Uruguayan at San Siro as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi, who left for PSG earlier this month.
Alex Telles has found playing time hard to come by since moving to England from FC Porto a year ago. The club’s interest in Atletico Madrid’s England international, Kieran Trippier, has put further doubts on the Brazilian’s future at Manchester United.
Financial constraints at Inter mean that the club would not be able to take both players on an outright transfer, so a deal will only become feasible if Manchester United and Cagliari are open to open to accepting loan deals.
As it stands, nothing suggests that United will be open to such a deal but the situation could change towards the end of the summer transfer market or if the player tries to force a move. Roma are also rumored to be interested in the player.
Cagliari could do a deal with Inter though, the relationship between both clubs has been good for some time now, a potential deal involving Radja Nainggolan, Andrea Pinamonti and Lucien Agoume could help soften Cagliari’s stance on Nandez and allow Inter take the Uruguayan under favourable conditions.
Inter will reportedly turn towards other options if a move for both players fail. Some of the players on the Nerazzurri’s list include Denzel Dumfries, Hector Bellerin, Davide Zappacosta.
