With a slightly rotated starting line-up, the Nerazzurri defeated Cagliari 3-1, but for their next match, against Bayern Munich In the second leg quarter-finals final clash in the UCL, a full strength team is expected even though a number of their first team players have the threat of suspension hanging over them.

According to reports from Italy, Simone Inzaghi is planning to make six changes to the Inter starting eleven against the Bavarians compared to the team that faced Cagliari, also at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. They face a potentially season-defining clash on Wednesday as they look to protect a slender 2-1 advantage.
Consequently, Inzaghi is not going to hold back and will name what he sees as his strongest possible starting eleven. In goal, Yann Sommer remains the first choice and for the defense, the trio of Benjamnin Pavard, Francesco Acerbi, and Alessandro Bastoni will be back after they got some rest from the start over the weekend.
In the midfield Henrikh Mkhitaryan will return, taking over from Davide Frattesi despite the recent complaints from Antonio Cassano and the fact that the Italian midfielder scored the winning goal in the first leg. Then, on the right flank, Matteo Darmian will come in for Nicola Zalewski, who is almost certain not to feature anyway.
Federico Dimarco is expected to start on the left, but the former Lazio manager will still need to manage the wing-back’s minutes, which means that he could be brought off midway through the second half, as has been the case in recent Serie A matches, hence we should see Carlos Augusto coming in at some point in the game.
This is after the impressive showing from the former Monza defender in the last two games where he bagged an assist each against Bayern and Cagliari. For the attack, Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez will lead, as Marko Arnautovic drops to the bench, but should be a useful option in the second half.
This means that the coach will not looking to protect any player even though several of them face a possible suspension for their next game if they qualify (a possible encounter against LaLiga giants, Barcelona, who defeated Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in their own first leg quarter-final clash).

Five key Inter starters will miss the next match if they get a yellow card against Bayern and they’re Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Benjamin Pavard, and Alessandro Bastoni. Denzel Dumfries should have been on the list, but he will not be available due to injury.
