All three matches, including the final, will be held in the newly-constructed Kingdom Arena, which is also home to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. The Supercoppa Italiana will once again be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will also continue in a four-team mini-tournament format.
There will be two single-legged semi-finals, with the winners from each game proceeding to the final. There will not be a third-place play-off. The four teams have already been confirmed. Inter qualified as the 2023-24 Serie A winners, Milan as the runners-up.
While Juventus and Atalanta qualified as the two finalists from the 2023-24 Coppa Italia. It will definitely be a congested fixture for the teams involved as they also will be playing in the UCL and the Serie A during this period. In a related development, Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, has confirmed that Inter made an approach for him this summer.
He further added that they were put off by the €15m asking price. The Nerazzurri needed a goalkeeper to act as understudy and future heir to Switzerland international Yann Sommer, so had zeroed in on Okoye. “The interest from Inter was concrete, but Udinese were asking for €15m to buy me,” the shot-stopper told Transfer Market.

“It would’ve been a dream, but I don’t regret how things went. I am happy to still be at this club, to be the Number 1 here. The situation could repeat itself if I keep working hard and maintain constant performances.“I want to stay in Italy, this is a choice I have made. I like this land, the people in it and the atmosphere.
“I am happy in Udine and want to take the club high with as many points as possible.” Born in Germany and playing his international football for Nigeria with 16 senior caps, the 25-year-old had experiences in Germany, the Netherlands and even England with Watford before coming to Udinese in 2023.
“I don’t see myself being elsewhere in January, as my focus is all on Udinese. I want to end the season here and continue working with Runjaic, who is a very important coach for me.” He further added.
Also, for Inter, they’ve reportedly stepped up their interest in young Italian star, DanielMaldini. The club’s sporting Director, Piero Ausilio was at Monza-Roma over the weekend to monitor the young lad. The club likes the young forward for his versatility, attacking characteristics and his age.

But the biggest obstacle will be his close ties to city rival, AC Milan, the club his father, Paolo Maldini and grandfather, Cesare Maldini played for. The interest is still at an early stage, but can be accelerated at any time as the Nerazzurri already have a good rapport with his current club, Monza.
