Inter on Saturday afternoon took on Sassuolo away from home and came out victors at the expense of the hosts.
A brace from veteran striker Edin Dzeko who scored his 100th and 101st Serie A goals was enough to earn victory for the away side.
The Bosnian opened the scoring in the 45th minute to put Inter ahead going into the break.
Italian midfielder Davide Frattesi brought Sassuolo level on the hour mark before the 36 year old Dzeko won the game with just quarter of an hour left to play.
The victory takes Inter to fifteen points this season after nine rounds, five adrift of leaders Napoli having played a game more.

It was an afternoon of records at the Mapei Stadium for some Nerazzurri players.
Dzeko with his brace reached a century of goals in the Italian league. He also became the oldest player to score two goals or more for Inter in Serie A, breaking Sinisa Mihajlovic’s record that dates back to 2005.

He also became the third oldest player to reach a century of goals in Serie A behind Goran Pandev and Sergio Pellissier.
Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana made his Serie A debut for Inter since arriving as a free agent in the summer.
The 25 year old got the reward of his outstanding performances in the Champions League by getting the nod over captain Samir Handanovic for the encounter.
He however failed to keep a clean sheet in the game which means he has conceded in both his Champions League and Serie A debuts.
