But in the team’s final match before the international break, he got his first start of the season in Ligue 1. That looked to be a positive sign that the teenager was starting to get up to the pace required. The Argentine confirmed that he has undergone the procedure in Barcelona, and he is not expected to recover before the end of the season .

Reports indicate that Inter and Marseille will agree to terminate his loan so he can come back to the Nerazzurri for his rehabilitation process. But if there is a positive, it is that time is Carboni’s side. The attacking midfielder is not yet twenty years of age. Therefore, even if he is out for six or more months while recovering, he can aim to go again when he’s back.

Meanwhile, for today’s game, after it was revealed that Roma coach, Ivan Juric will have his attacking pair, Artem Dovbyk and Paulo Dybala available against Inter today, there has been another revelation that the former Torino manager is planning a tactical setup to stop his opponent. Accordingly, Angelino and Nicola Zalewski will start on the left for Roma as part of a tactical “doubling up” against Inter today.

In a report from Corriere dello Sport, Mario Hermoso will reportedly start on the bench for the Giallorossi, as Juric gets his tactical plan ready for this match at the Olimpico. This encounter with the reigning Italian champions will be the toughest test yet for the coach who recently replaced Daniele De Rossi. Both Inter and Roma tend to play with three defenders at the back.

The Nerazzurri’s 3-5-2 formation under Simone Inzaghi is by now well-known, while Juric has always favoured a Gasperini-style back three system as well.Under Inzaghi, Inter’s 3-5-2 shape is very fluid and allows for plenty of movement and interchange between players in different areas. That is the key to how the Nerazzurri can create superiority in certain parts of the pitch.

The Croatian coach has always relied on a man-marking system to negate other teams’ plans. And that tends to mean a lot of versatility for his players. According to the report, former Atletico Madrid defender, Hermoso will not be starting, because he is a fairly classic centre-back, and the fact that he’s just returning from injury, so he’s probably match rusty. So, even if he thrives playing in a defensive role in a back three, he’s probably not going to start.

This is because Juric has also often opted for Angelino in that role since his arrival. The 27-year-old has emerged as a key player under the current Roma coach.Angelino’s versatility has been as much an asset for Juric as the former Manchester City and RB Leipzig defender’s pace and technical quality.Angelino is more than capable of playing an attacking wide role.

But he can also play on the left of a back three – where he’s often featured under Juric.Meanwhile, Nicola Zalewski will start on the left of a 3-4-2-1 formation. That can easily become a 4-2-3-1 for Roma. The Giallorossi should be able to transition into a shape with Angelino playing as an attacking full-back and Zalewski as a winger. This could be crucial to Juric’s plan to push back Inter on the flanks.

But the left wing might be where is most dangerous, with a great understanding between Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco, then further adding Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the mix, Inter’s goal usually comes from their side of the pitch, so they’re also deserving of attention.
