Inter’s Move For Lukaku Hits Stumbling Block?

Inter may have hit a snag in their efforts to complete the signing of Chelsea’s Belgian international forward, Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku looked poised to complete a loan move to the Milano based club last week following reports that both clubs had agreed a 10 million euro fee plus bonuses but new reports say that the deal is not quite done yet as both parties are still at the negotiating table.

Inter’s financial struggles are well documented and the club will need to part ways with one or two key players this summer, a situation that has affected the way they have moved in the transfer market so far.
Multiple reports in Italy claim that the club’s directors have been instructed by club president, Steven Zhang to keep negotiating with Chelsea in the hope that they can get a discount from the English club.
Inter CEO, Giuseppe Marotta confirmed in an interview earlier today as reported by Fcinter1908.it that both clubs are still talking but the deal is yet to reach the finish line. According to Marotta, “today will not be the day of the announcement for Lukaku”.
“I do not hide the fact that Lukaku is an absolutely viable track but there are difficulties and we must evaluate whether it is possible to define it.”
Reports claim that the relationship between both clubs remain cordial and Chelsea’s new owner, Todd Boehly will do everything possible to satisfy Lukaku’s requests even if certain financial parameters must be met. The Belgian has reportedly taken a huge pay cut to facilitate the move and is counting on both clubs to come to an agreement as soon as possible so that he can begin his second Nerazzurri adventure.
An agreement is expected in a few days due to the Italian club’s determination to have the deal completed by the end of June in order to take advantage of the growth decree for foreign transfers in Italy .

Inter have completed the signing of Cagliari’s Italian wing back, Raoul Bellanova according to multiple sources in Italy.
The transfer was reportedly completed last week in a deal that would have seen the Sardinia based club receive 10 million euros outright for the 22-year old but Inter asked Cagliari for a change in the terms of the deal which forced both clubs back to the negotiating table.

Cagliari have now accepted the new terms which will see the club receive 3 million euros for an initial loan move in addition to a 7 million-euro obligation to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan period according to Sky Italia.
Bellanova will be at the disposal of Simone Inzaghi when the club begins its preseason training on July 6.
