Having signed Brazilian defender, Marcelo, who left Real Madrid this summer at the expiration of his contract, the club immediately followed it up with another top signing, with a connection to Real Madrid too.

Colombian midfielder, James Rodriguez was recently captured by Olympiacos and the duo could be joined by another former Real Madrid player soon. As reported by Greek journalist Nikos Kotsis, Paris Saint-Germain have offered experienced goalkeeper Keylor Navas to Olympiacos.
New PSG coach Christophe Galtier has already informed the player that Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma is his first choice and unlike the previous coaches, he doesn’t plan to rotate between the pair, hence Navas is already considering his future at the club.
The Costa Rican was close to joining Italian side, Napoli before the closing of the transfer window when they sold Spanish midfielder, Fabian Ruiz to PSG. But the move was blocked due to a disagreement between PSG and Navas over the financial part of the loan transfer.
The formula for his move to Olympiacos would be the same that was tried with the Serie A team, with PSG covering an important part of Navas’ €15 million salary. It is uncertain whether Keylor would be willing to sign for the Greek club.
But his decision should be made soon, as the transfer window comes to an end on Thursday in Greece and the prospect of joining his former teammate could be a tempting offer.
Meanwhile…
Spanish La Liga side, Barcelona are said to be still interested in signing Valencia defender, Jose Gaya to strengthen their left-back position in 2023.

The Blaugrana were said to have been offered the chance to sign the player this summer, but with a contract set to expire in 2023, they would rather wait and sign him for free as they eye a revolution on their left-back.
With the rising emergence of Alejandro Balde, the club felt comfortable enough to want to get rid of Jordi Alba and the fact that summer signing, Marcos Alonso signed only a one year contract is further proof that the club may have a long term plan in place with Alba and Alonso in their 30s already, while Gaya is still 27yrs and Balde is still young at 18yrs.
