The USWNT was drawn into Group E alongside 2019 runner-up the Netherlands, Vietnam, and the eventual winner of the Group A intercontinental playoff.
Interestingly, Group E will compete exclusively in New Zealand, which is hosting the tournament in tandem with Australia.

Competing in New Zealand saves nations a significant amount of travel strain.
