LATEST POSTS

1) Nicolo Barella (Inter Milan)

Apart from the beauty of the goal, it was also a well worked team move starting from Inter’s half as Dimarco’s pass was chested down for Mkhitaryan by Marcus Thuram and the former Manchester United and Arsenal midfielder found Barella with a sweet volleyed pass, sending his teammate clear on goal. For Barella, he still had plenty of work to do, racing towards goal, stepped inside a defender before placing the ball beyond the keeper and into the net for the second goal of the game.

2) Gaetano Oristiano (Venezia)

The Italian forward, who is on loan from Inter Milan produced a superb goal from a dead ball situation as he scored direct from the corner, curling the ball straight into the back of the net. He might have been helped by the weather condition but he still display good technique to get it right for the goal that helped his team secure a point in the game.

3) Gustav Isaksen (Lazio)

After wrecking havoc against Napoli in the Coppa Italia, Tijjani Noslin was on hand to do more damage as his clever pass found his teammate, Gustav Isaksen, who stepped inside his man on the edge of the box and whipped a tremendous shot into the left side of the goal. The goal ensured that Atalanta get to keep their place at the top of the Serie A table after 15 games played.

4) Samuel Mbangula (Juventus)

Despite numerous links about a possible sales during the January transfer window, 20-year-old Samuel Mbangula continues to impress for Juventus and he scored an excellent goal against Bologna to help the Bianconeri preserve their unbeaten record in the league. The Belgian winger neatly controlled a decent pass from Dusan Vlahovic and smashed an unstoppable drive into the top right corner from the edge of the box in added time to put his team back on level terms.

5) Lorenzo Colombo (Empoli)

It was from a free kick and the midfielder picked up the ball from the rebound and from the edge of the box he unleashed a low shot into the bottom right corner to cap off an excellent afternoon for the team away from home.

6) Danilo Cataldi (Fiorentina)

It was their first Serie A after the Eduardo Bove incident and the former Lazio man was on hand to give his team all three points. He got to the ball on the edge of the box and fired in a first-time shot that goes inside the right post. He couldn’t have done it any better and his celebration for Bove made it even better.

7) Tommaso Pobega (Bologna)

The former AC Milan midfielder doubled the goal for his team as they faced their former manager at the Allianz Stadium stadium. Santiago Castro found his teammate inside the box, and Pobega spotted the goalkeeper Mattia Perin off his line and chipped the ball into the net with a cheeky lob.

8) Alvaro Morata (AC Milan)

It was a typical AC Milan classic counter attack goal down the left, with Theo Hernandez pass down the channel finding Rafael Leao and the Portuguese forward sprinted into the box before laying a pass to Morata, who had the simplest of task of finding the net from a close range to get his team back in level after Charles De Ketelaere’s opening goal.

9) Federico Dimarco (Inter Milan)

After controlling a pass out wide from Barella, Dimarco passed the ball to his teammate, Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the box and the Armenian returned the favor with Dimarco turning and controlling the pass in his stride before hitting the ball with his weaker foot for the opening goal of the game.
