Bologna, Juventus, Lazio, Roma Fiorentina and AC Milan all have chances of taking these spots, albeit with different percentage, going into the next round of matches next weekend.
There is also the relegation battle with Parma, Lecce, Empoli, Venezia and Monza all in the thick of it and could have a domino effect on the other places up for contention, but in this report, we will take a look at some of the best goals scored in this round of match.
1) Dan Ndoye (Bologna)
The Rossoblu have proven to be a tough nut to crack and once again, the quality in the team stood out as they held Napoli to a 1-1 draw at home and it was the Swiss winger that scored the equalizing goal as he received a killer pass in the box and scored with a nice back-heel flick off the underside of the crossbar.
2) Manuel Locatelli (Juventus)
The Italian midfielder has been on another level since Igor Tudor took over and he showed his quality once again with the opening goal as he got to the ball on the edge of the box and fired in a first-time shot without any hesitation. The strike is excellent and goes straight into the bottom left corner.
3) Mergim Vojvoda (Como)
The newly promoted side have been on inspired form this season and they proved just how good they are with another positive result, coming back from an early goal to win 3-1 and this goal capped it off as the defender unleashed a bullet of a strike from the edge of the penalty box into the net.
4) Adrian Bernabe (Parma)
They were down 2-0 at half-time against the league leaders, Inter but managed to claw their way back into the match and it all started with the first goal. The Spanish midfielder latched on to a precise through ball from Enrico Del Prato before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box.
5) Eljif Elmas (Torino)
The former Napoli man has been in great form since his return to the league and he got his name on the score sheet once again as he controlled the ball on the edge of the box then makes a yard for himself and fired a wonderful strike into the bottom left corner via the post.
6) Frank Zambo Anguissa (Napoli)
The Cameroonian showed plenty of strength and resilience to hang on to the ball from the midfield into the opponent’s box before beating the keeper and sending the ball into the middle of the goal for the opening goal of the game.

7) Tammy Abraham (AC Milan)
The lanky striker may have gotten the assist from Christian Pulisic who played a simple square pass into his feet in the box, but the former Chelsea and Roma striker did plenty of work to beat two defenders before playing the give and go and he composed himself and sent the ball into the bottom right corner to spark the comeback.
8) Jonathan Ikone (Como)
The former Fiorentina forward finished his beautiful individual effort with a superb strike from inside the box after holding off the attention of two defenders to leave the keeper, Stefano Turati unable to stop it as the ball went straight into the bottom left corner.
9) Gustav Isaksen (Lazio)
While much of the work for the goal was done by Fisayo Dele-Bashir, who out-muscled the defenders to get to the ball and head it over the defence to his teammate, Isaksen was at the right place and at the right time to meet it nicely and slide it into the back of the net for the only goal of the game.
