Italian women’s national team revealed its final squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand this month.

Three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, and seven attackers made the final roster that the European team will be taking to the 32-team Women’s World Cup.
Juventus’ Lisa Boattin and her teammate, Rachele Baldi made the team alongside Barbara Bonansea are notable players from former Italian champions, Juventus.
Valentina Gacinti from Italian Serie A winners AS Roma and Cristiana Girelli from Juventus complete an wholesale Italian based squad heading to the World Cup.
On July 24, Italy will get its World Cup campaign underway against Argentina at the Eden Park, Auckland before facing Sweden at the Wellington Regional Stadium on July 29.
Its final group game will be against African champions South Africa at the Wellington Regional Stadium on August 2.

Coach Mai Duc Chung said that these players have tried very hard but still need more time to further improve for the upcoming tasks of Vietnamese women’s football team.
The Asian side will face holders, United States Women’s National Team (USWNT), Portugal, and the Netherlands in the group stage of its maiden World Cup appearance.
