Host, England’s Lionesses defeated Sweden 4-0 in the first semi-final of the 2022 UEFA Women’s Championship at Bramall Lane, Sheffield on Tuesday.

Arsenal FC Women forward, Bethany Mead opened the scoring for England with a right-footed strike inside the box after a cross from Lucy Bronze in the 34th minute.

Bethany Mead in the 48th minute turned the provider as her corner kick was headed into the back of the net by Lucy Bronze to double England’s lead.

The goal was initially checked for offside before it was eventually given.
