Mathias Jaissle has set his sights on the Intercontinental Cup coming up on Tuesday against Pyramids FC.

The reigning Asian champions will square up against the reigning African champions in Jeddah to confirm the winner of the tournament.
The Victor on the night will automatically be confirmed for a place in the semi finals of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
Speaking ahead of the game, Jaissle expressed aim at winning for Al Ahli faithfuls and to return excitement to the club.
“It’s wonderful to be here to make our fans happy, to win this continental final and to repeat the joy we achieved in the Elite Champions League so we can delight our supporters with another trophy.”
He is once again banking on the support of the ever present Al Ahli fans who have been the team’s secret players.
“With our fans behind us, the energy will flow and, God willing, the team will secure victory in the continental final.”

The game will be played on Saudi Arabia’s National Day and the German coach hopes to commemorate that with the Africa-Asia-Oceania trophy.
“Tomorrow is a special day [Saudi National Day] and God willing, we will make our fans proud by winning the continental title.
Pyramids are a strong team with high-level players, but we are fully prepared, and with our fans behind us, we can overcome the challenges of the match and achieve victory in the final.”
