Olympique de Marseille and Italian outfit Roma are in advanced talks over a move for goalkeeper, Pau Lopez and Cengiz Ünder, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 26-year old goalkeeper was an integral member for the Giallorossi but with the new manager, Jose Mourinho intending to bring in Portuguese goalkeeper, Rui Patricio from Wolves, the club is willing to part ways with Pau Gomez for a deal believed to be worth about €15 million. Marseille are proposing a season long loan deal for about €1-2 million with an option of paying €12 million for a permanent deal later on.
Just as Pau Lopez is surplus to requirement at Roma, Turkey international winger, Cengiz Under who returned to the Stadio Olimpico after an unsuccessful loan spell with Leicester City could even be included as part of the package deal.
New Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has made it clear that Lopez isn’t part of his current plans and so Rui Patricio will replace Pau Lopez with negotiation at final stages with Wolves according to Fabrizio Romano.
