He has postponed undergoing surgery, instead managing the issue by playing with his shoulder tightly strapped in an effort to avoid further damage.
However, the situation can no longer be delayed, and the procedure is expected to sideline him for approximately 12 weeks. This recovery timeline means he is likely to miss the beginning of next season.

Under the guidance of new manager Xabi Alonso, the Spanish giants will kick off their La Liga campaign at home against Osasuna on 19 August.
Jude Bellingham heads into his third season following an exceptional debut year in Madrid after his £115 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund. The young midfielder who made an immediate impact, scoring 23 goals in 43 appearances and playing a key role in helping Real Madrid secure both the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League crown under Carlo Ancelotti has come under scrutiny after the club’s torrid run last season.
Alonso is expected to lead Los Blancos transformation next season with the 21-year-old expected to play more prominent role.
