More Details
Wataru Endo may need some time to adjust to playing in the Premier League and to the higher level at Anfield, according to Jurgen Klopp, who spoke to Liverpool’s official website.
Endo moved from VfB Stuttgart to Liverpool during the summer transfer period. The Premier League team reportedly paid £16.2 million in transfer fees for the defensive midfielder, according to Sky Sports.
The 30-year-old Japan international can also operate as a center-back. For Liverpool this year, Endo has made one Premier League start and one substitute appearance.
Klopp said: “For Endo, it’s a massive step, a massive change in the way he used to play and the way we play, so that obviously needs a bit of time to get there but it’s no problem.”

After the Barcelona star reportedly passed up Tottenham Hotspur, Paul Merson praised Brighton and Hove Albion for signing Ansu Fati.
Ansu Fati’s future spiraled out of control as Tottenham and Brighton, two powerhouse Premier League teams, battled it out for the versatile forward’s services in the days leading up to the transfer deadline.
At one point, Brighton swooped in and managed to recruit the 20-year-old on a season-long loan contract, just as Spurs thought they had their man and a deal was finalized.
