JUST IN: Amorim Sacked Days After Fiery Attack On Manchester United Board
Manchester United have officially parted ways with Ruben Amorim, ending his 14-month tenure in a sudden and decisive fashion.
More Details
The decision follows a period of mounting tension, largely sparked by Amorim’s recent public tirade against the club’s leadership after a disappointing stalemate at Leeds.

Ultimately, the combination of that controversial outburst and a sustained run of poor results left the board with little choice but to terminate his contract.
Ruben Amorim’s tenure at Manchester United came to an abrupt end after only 63 matches. Having taken over from Erik ten Hag in November 2024, the Portuguese manager struggled to find consistency, securing just 24 victories. This left him with a disappointing 38% win rate upon his departure.
