According to a report from Italy, Juve are now said to be closing in on a move for Monza goalkeeper Michele di Gregorio. The Bianconeri have been linked with a move for multiple goalkeepers and it seems as if they are nearing a move for Di Gregorio. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that progress is being made in a rather significant manner by Juve, with talks between the two clubs now on.

The move is in the final details and Cristiano Guintoli is working hard to finalise the switch. Key contacts took place between the two clubs took place yesterday and the goalkeeper’s performances this season have convinced the Old Lady about the switch.

The fee in question would be around €20 million, with the Old Lady keen on building the foundations for next season under Motta. They will also try to use Motta to gain an advantage to sign two of Bologna stars, Joshua Zirkzee and Riccardo Calafiori, but they won’t be stopping there as they plan to make an assault for Atalanta midfielder Ederson.

The Brazilian has been in fantastic form since joining La Dea, and he is one of the best-performing midfielders in Serie A this campaign. Juve have followed him closely, and other teams on the continent have also shown interest in the Europa League winner.

The Bianconeri believe he has what it takes to do well in their squad, and they hope to win the race for his signature this Summer. Their initial target was Teun Koopmeiners, but with his price rising and a growing interest from Liverpool, perhaps they can do a deal for his teammate instead, who should be available for around €40m to €50m.

It should be noted that Di Gregorio was recently voted as the best goalkeeper in Serie A while Zirkzee won the award for the best u-23 player, ahead of Matias Soule, a Juve player on loan at Frosinone. Calafiori was also a nominee for the best defender alongside Gleison Bremer but it was won by Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni.
