Hence, according to the report, the club would be forced to change their transfer strategies accordingly with nine players who could leave the Allianz Stadium in the 2025 summer transfer window if the team fails to achieve a top-four finish and it could also affect the quality of players that they can sign in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The players billed for the exit door are second-choice keeper Mattia Perin, Renato Veiga, currently on loan from Chelsea, Federico Gatti, who has requests from the Premier League, like Andrea Cambiaso. Francisco Conceiçao and Randal Kolo Muani’s loan deals may not be extended.
Then Dusan Vlahovic will be put on the market regardless of a top-four finish, as the Serbia international is unwilling to extend his contract beyond 2026. Furthermore, young talent, Nicolò Savona, could leave, and the same is true of midfielders Douglas Luiz and Weston McKennie.
For the former, EPL side, Nottingham Forest have intensified talks with his agent Kia Joorabchian, in recent days, hoping to bring him back to England after just one season. The former Aston Villa star is having a disappointing debut season with the Old Lady and his exit seems almost assured.
So, according to Tuttosport, Forest have recently intensified talks with the midfielder’s agent who is also on excellent terms with new Forest director Edu Gaspar. According to the report, Edu is a long-time admirer of Douglas Luiz and even wanted to bring the Brazilian to Arsenal in the past.

The report claims that Nottingham Forest are considering making an offer to sign the player on loan with an option to buy, but the Bianconeri will be pushing for an obligation to purchase the midfielder at the end of the season. Douglas Luiz has failed to justify his €50m price tag in Turin this season.
Under two different managers, he has failed to produce a goal or an assist in 23 games across all competitions. Furthermore, according to the same source, the new coach who replaced Thiago Motta and club directors would also pay the consequences for missing out on a top-four finish.
