Juventus Zero In On Several Targets This January As Igor Tudor Formally Leaves The Club
The changes may not be glaring for Italian giants, Juventus since they made the switch from Igor Tudor to Luciano Spalletti but it is very much obvious that things have improved to an extent with the former Inter Milan and Napoli coach who was appointed late last year.
More Details
As for his predecessor, his exit from the club has now become formal as recent reports in Italy claim that the Turin-based club have reached an agreement to terminate the contract of their former coach but that still leave them with two coaches on their payroll at the moment.

Tudor who was sacked in October was still under contract until 2027 but has now agreed to terminate his contract with the Bianconeri, according to several Italian sources, including Sky Sport Italia and this will free him up to join any other foreign club immediately.
He had replaced Thiago Motta in March 2024 and reached Champions League qualification last season. Furthermore, h. freeremained in charge for 24 Juventus games between the end of 2024-25 and the beginning of 2025-26, winning ten times, drawing eight and losing six.
His successor is currently contracted to the club until the end of the season, while Tudor’s predecessor, Motta remains under contract until 2027 and according to the report, Tudor is not allowed to take charge of another Serie A club in 2025-26 as part of their agreement to terminate his contract.
In a related development, the Old Lady are also busy in the transfer market, trying to satisfy their manager with his request but they don’t have much room to maneuver in transfer window due to their financial situation, hence they’re looking at low cost options to strengthen their squad.
Consequently, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the club directors have not given up on Federico Chiesa and are progressing talks with Liverpool, but the Italian winger’s future also depends on Mohamed Salah’s stay at Anfield, making the issue more difficult.
Despite the recent statement from Liverpool coach, Arne Slot that Chiesa not leaving the club this January, Juventus are continuing talks to bring back the player back to Turin and they are convinced that their ex-winger is the ideal reinforcement in attack for Spalletti.

This is mainly because Chiesa already knows the club and Italian football, so he’d need no time to adapt as he only left Juventus for Liverpool 18 months ago and is far from being a regular starter at Anfield and he would be glad to return to Juventus as the club has changed massively in recent months.
Cristiano Giuntoli and Motta, who ultimately pushed for his exit in 2024, are gone, while Juventus director Giorgio Chiellini and coach Spalletti are admirers of the 28-year-old but apart from Chiesa, the club is also in the market for a central midfielder this month.
According to reports, West Ham’s Guido Rodriguez is among their main targets and the idea is to bring in the Argentine to Turin on a dry loan deal, and the player is open to moving to the Allianz Stadium, where he hopes to get more playing time to convince Lionel Scaloni to include him in the Argentina squad for the 2026 World Cup.

On the other hand, the club knows that the defense takes priority and they’re ready to set aside the move for a midfielder, meaning that have now set their sights on Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi, who has just six months left in his contract and is also being followed by Spanish and English clubs.
