Meanwhile…

Spanish giants Real Madrid underwent a significant roster revamp this past summer, releasing a number of undesirable talents including Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marcelo while also loaning out players like Luka Jovic and Reinier.

Mariano Diaz is one of the players who could leave the team, according to multiple reports from Diario AS (via Madrid Zone). The 29-year-old has dropped down the pecking order and is not included in Carlo Ancelotti’s plan.

The 29-year-old was formerly a member of Olympique Lyon, but he hasn’t played a single minute of league football yet this year. He played just five minutes of the Champions League match against RB Leipzig in his first outing of the year.
