Kathellen Sousa joined Real Madrid from the Italian Serie A Women side, Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan).
The former Bordeaux defender has spent the last two (2) seasons with Inter Milan before completing her switch to the Spanish capital team.
She played 11 league games for Inter Milan during her first season (2020/2021).
Last season (2021/2022), Kathellen Sousa featured in 17 league games and scored a goal for Inter Milan against City rivals, AC Milan on December 5, 2021, during a 0-3 win.

Kathellen Sousa, 26, was part of the Brazilian women’s national team that won the 2022 Copa America Femenina defeating host, Colombia 1-0 in the final.
She played four games for the Seleccao.
Kathellen Sousa thus became Real Madrid’s fourth signing ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign.

The French midfielder joins on a free transfer from Levante where she spent the last two (2) seasons.
During her first season (2020/2021) at Levante when she arrived from Montpellier, she played 28 league games and scored six goals with an assist.
Last season (2021/2022), she scored four goals with six assists in 25 games.
She was part of the French side that reached the semi-final of UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 playing all of France’s five games.
