Al Ittihad have qualified for the semi finals of the King’s Cup after getting the better of Al Hilal on penalties.

Karim Benzema was pivotal for the Jeddah based side as he opened the scoring in the second half of the game before clinching the equalizer six minutes from time during extra time.
Salem Al Dawsari had equalized for The Blues before Marcos Leonardo shot them ahead.
Both sides could not be separated in regulation time as the game ended one all after normal time.
There was no separating them even after extra time as the game headed to penalties.

Al Hilal scored one of their four kicks while Al Ittihad converted all three to advance to the last four.
Mohamed Kanno, Marcos Leonardo and Malcom were all guilty of missing from the spot. Only Sergej Milinkovic scored his spot kick for the reigning champions.
Karim Benzema, Danilo Pereira and Fabinho ensured The Tigers join Al Qadsiah, Al Raed and Al Shabab in the semi finals.
