Lamar could exit Atletico Madrid

Thomas Lemar could be on his way out of Atletico Madrid according to latest reports.

Fabrizio Romano of Sky Italia reports that Atleti will be open to letting the 24-year old versatile midfielder leave the club should a suitable offer arrive.

The France international has struggled since his arrival in the Spanish capital in 2018 to really establish himself as a regular starter in the first team and is considering leaving the club in order to improve his chances of sealing a spot in the Didier Deschamps’ France team for Euro 2020.

There is interest in Lemar from Germany with RB Leipzig and current European champions, Bayern Munich ready to give the midfielder a way out but it is not clear yet if an official bid will be made.

Lamar arrived in Spain from Monaco in 2018 for a reported 70 million euros. Since that time, he has made 54 appearances in La Liga and scored three goals for the club
