The presence of Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Roberto Gagliardini and addition of Hakan Calhanoglu has reduced his playing time causing frustration for the former Barcelona midfielder.

The situation has prompted Tottenham to act with Conte charging for midfield reinforcement.
