Tokyo 2020 winner, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn showed champion stuff after winning the women’s 100 metres hurdles at the Wanda Diamond League in Lausanne, Switzerland.
She got her revenge over the world athletics and commonwealth champion, Tobi Amusan of Nigeria in a pulsating race.

The Puerto Rican ran a time MR of 12.34s to win as against the Nigeria’s 12.45s while of the Tai Jones of the United States finished third in Personal Best of 12.47s.

Jasmine and Amusan have now qualified for the final in Zurich next month.

US Aleia Hobbs won the women’s 100m event in a depleted event at the Lausanne Diamond League.

Hobbs got out well and held her form nicely through to the finish to win with 10.87s (0.0).

She beat a fast-closing Shericka Jackson of Jamaica who ran 10.88s while Marie Joseé Ta Lou of Cote D’Ivoire was third in 10.89s.
The race was characterised by multiple stops as Shelly Ann-Fraser Pryce pulled out of the race due to injury as Elaine Thomoson-Herah was disqualified for a false start.
