Leicester City Acquire French Youth International

Leicester City FC Women (LCFC) confirmed the permanent signing of exciting young winger Shana Chossenotte from French side, Stade de Reims, subject to league and international clearance.

The Foxes have signed French youth international Shana Chossenotte. The 19-year-old joins City from Stade de Reims on a three-year contract.
The exciting winger is set to link back up with Manager Amandine Miquel who was her former coach at Reims.
The teenager was signed for an undisclosed fee following three years competing in the French Première Ligue.

An exciting prospect with an abundance of talent, Chossenotte first broke into the Reims’ First Team during the 2021/2022 season and would go on to make 37 senior league appearances for the Stade Auguste-Delaune club.
Her potential has also been recognized at the international level, having been capped by France Under-17s, Under-18s, Under-19s, and Under-20s.

Her record on the world stage stands at 10 goals and six assists in 36 caps across the age groups.
Last season saw the dynamic and quick forward score five goals and register three assists in the Première Ligue, continuing her rapid progression as Reims recorded a fourth-place finish in the league table.
She will now link up with her new teammates at Belvoir Drive as the Foxes continue preparations for the 2024/2025 Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) season.
