More Details

The 28-year-old signed a new contract with Fulham in September, but in recent weeks, he has been linked to a number of European clubs regarding a potential January transfer.

Last summer, Fulham and Bayern Munich were on the verge of finalizing a deal for the player, but Fulham withdrew because they could not find a suitable substitute in time.

Football Insider reports that The Cottagers will once more hope for a transfer few above £50 million for the highly sought-after midfield player during the January transfer window.

After revamping their midfield last summer, the report goes on to say that Liverpool is unlikely to make a move for Palhinha in the new year.

Furthermore, it’s known that signing a new center back is Bayern’s primary priority in January, despite their continued interest in the Portugal international. While Arsenal is reportedly keeping a close eye on Palhinha, they have Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz at the top of their wishlist.

Meanwhile…

Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.

Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.

This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
