The move, first reported by The Athletic and later confirmed by the Pioneer Press, comes after the Honduran international spent significant time as a high-demand target for various clubs within MLS and abroad.

Despite the consistent outside interest in his services, the “Loons” ultimately decided to capitalize on his value by striking a deal with their Western Conference rivals.
Minnesota United felt comfortable moving on from Rosales largely due to the breakout performance of Anthony Markanich. Playing in the same left wingback role, Markanich delivered an impressive nine-goal season in 2025, providing the club with a high-impact alternative.
Rosales concludes a five-season tenure with the Loons, highlighted by a strong 2024 campaign where he recorded seven primary assists over 30 appearances.

While he featured in 25 matches last season, his time with the club ended on a sour note; his final appearance resulted in a red card for violent conduct during the team’s playoff exit against the Seattle Sounders on November 8.
Rosales also played a part in the defensive lapse that allowed Austin FC to score the winning goal, eliminating MNUFC from the U.S. Open Cup semifinals on Sept. 17.
