England defender Lucy Bronze has praised the extraordinary resilience and fighting spirit of the Lionesses after their dramatic 2-1 comeback win against Italy secured a place in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 final.

Trailing 1-0 deep into stoppage time, England forced extra time with a last-gasp equaliser from Mary Agyemang in the 96th minute before Chloe Kelly netted the winner in the 119th minute, sealing a famous victory for the Lionesses.
