The 62 year old tactician has been doing an incredible job at Awwal Park since succeeding Rudi Garcia at the helm.

He has led his side to an incredible run of results since their poor start to the season when they lost their first two games.

Following another impressive win over the weekend and ahead of another two games in five days, Castro is focused on the visit of Persepolis before shifting attention to the derby against Al Hilal on Friday.

“I am now thinking about tomorrow’s match in the AFC Champions League, but I cannot ignore any match in the future, whether the Al-Hilal, Al-Ettifaq, or Al-Shabab match, or any match that is important to me, and my job is to think about all the matches.”

Castro spoke about the tight schedule his team has had to contend with but assured his players are well equipped to cope.

“Time is tight because of the last match we played in the league on Friday. Today we were not able to train as usual. Most of the training was recovery for the players, but I have high-level players who can handle any pressure.”

Otavio has been hailed for his incredible ball carrying ability but reporters fear it could be a possible exposure to injury.

“I do not think about the issue of injury, because any player may be injured, and I do not think about this matter, and I am not a star and I play for the team.” He responded during the press conference alongside Luis Castro ahead of the Champions League game.
