The speculation intensified following reports that the former Barcelona coach had rejected a new offer from the reigning Champions League winners.
Although he still has 18 months remaining on his deal with the French giants, rumors suggested he believed his work in Paris was complete after a successful, trophy-filled three-year run. Meanwhile, other names linked to the Manchester United vacancy include Oliver Glasner, Eddie Howe, and Thomas Tuchel.
Speculation about Luis Enrique’s future has intensified after he reportedly turned down a new contract. Nevertheless, the 55-year-old manager brushed off the rumors prior to PSG’s cup tie against Paris FC, stating that the gossip would not distract his players.
He said: “These are rumours that always circulate at PSG.

“We are used to them, they are private matters and will remain so. There is a lot of ‘fake news’ and they will not destabilise either the players or the team.
“It’s normal to have talks, but they remain private. We know what we want, and that’s the most important thing. We are calm and relaxed.”
After Amorim’s sacking on Monday, Darren Fletcher took over as interim boss. His brief tenure included a 2-2 Premier League draw against Burnley followed by a 2-1 loss to Brighton, which knocked them out of the FA Cup.
