After PSG dropped points on Friday with a 4-4 draw against Fleury, Lyon knew that a win over Montpellier on Saturday will push the team to the top of the table.

Two goals in the second half from Eugenie Le Sommer and Sarah Dabritz lifted Sonia Bompastor’s side to a 2-0 win against Montpellier.

German midfielder Dzsenifer Marozsan had the first chance of the game but her effort from outside the box was saved by Lisa Schmitz.
