European record champions, Lyon are through to the final of the 2023/2024 UEFA Women’s Champions League after a 2-1 win against fellow French side, PSG in the return leg of the semi-final on Sunday.

Lyon had to come from 2-0 down to earn a 3-2 win in the first leg.

They got the second leg off to a flying start away from home as Selma Bacha opened the scoring for Sonia Bompastor’s side in the third minute of action after being set up by Melchie Dumornay.

Marie Antoinette Katoto who scored two goals for PSG in the first leg assisted Tabitha Chawinga for the equaliser in the 41st minute.

Dumornay restored Lyon's lead in the 81st minute to seal a 5-3 victory on aggregate.
