Kylian Mbappe will be reportedly out of the Madrid Derby following Real Madrid’s medical team assessment of the French national team captain who was withdrawn in the home win against Alaves.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti had earlier revealed that the summer acquisition who had asked to be withdrawn as he was a bit tired and to caution against problems was fine during his pressers yesterday.
Tests conducted on Kylian Mbappé today negates that he’s fine as it has been revealed that he has sustained an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg and his recovery will be closely monitored as officially communicated by the club today.

Real Madrid is set to play their first major match of the season on Sunday night as they travel to take on city rivals Atletico Madrid. Unfortunately, they will be without their star signing, Kylian Mbappe, who has been ruled out for approximately three weeks due to a significant injury.

Addressing the fixtures which has caused a lot of injuries to players, the Italian gaffer said, “we’re getting better and it suits us because the schedule is very demanding. We’ve come back well after the break and we want to continue like this for Sunday’s game, which is going to be very tough”.
This setback is a tough blow for Los Blancos, who are also uncertain about Eduardo Camavinga’s fitness for the match. In addition to Mbappe, they will definitely be missing David Alaba, Brahim Diaz, and Dani Ceballos.
