Newcastle United’s transfer woes are deepening! Not only did they miss out on Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool, but there’s a real possibility that Merseyside-based club could also snatch Alexander Isak.

More Details

The Magpies are in dire need of a striker or two, as Newcastle’s top scorer appears to be attempting to pressure a move to the Premier League winners.

Since many of the key targets at the position have already made their moves, including the two Vik/ctors, with Gyökeres already at Arsenal and Osimhen permanently joining Galatasaray, that desperation may only increase as we approach the last month of the transfer market.

Even Chelsea, who added Liam Delap and João Pedro, handled our business in this way a while back. Christopher Nkunku and possibly even Nicolas Jackson are now accessible due to their arrivals, and it is the latter that has attracted significant attention in recent weeks.

Newcastle United have shortlisted the 24-year-old, who has scored 30 goals for Chelsea since joining two seasons ago, joining Manchester United and Juventus in that regard.

Jackson isn’t exactly at the top of that list, as Newcastle is now making a lot of effort to sign Benjamin Šeško and is begging Brentford to release Yoane Wissa, which is extremely improbable considering that they have lost Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United.

Another name that has been mentioned is Ollie Watkins, but he is undoubtedly less accessible than Jackson.

According to reports, Chelsea have set a low asking price of one hundred million dollars for Jackson, but I get the impression that we could be open to negotiating if a team showed genuine, serious interest (especially if Nkunku is still available).
