Three first-half goals powered the Cityzens to a comfortable victory, opening up a four-point lead ahead of reigning champions Chelsea.
Rebecca Knaak opened the scoring in the 26th minute, finishing off a well-weighted pass from Khadija Shaw.
City doubled their lead in the 43rd minute when Krestin Casparij set up Shaw, who made no mistake from close range.
In stoppage time at the end of the first half, Casparij turned provider again—this time for Lauren Hemp—who fired home to make it 3–0 heading into the break.
The second half was more evenly contested, with both coaches making several changes, but neither side found the back of the net.
