Depending on their progression, Manchester City could potentially play up to five 30-minute matches, with interim head coach Nick Cushing leading a squad comprised of first-team players.
It is worth noting that City recently missed out on a Champions League spot for the upcoming season after a 2-2 draw with their city rivals, Manchester United, on Sunday.
