Onana was substituted out of Cameroon’s World Cup qualifying match against Mauritius after 81 minutes. Bryan Mbeumo, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, and Frank Magri all scored goals to complete the victory, with United’s top goalie starting the game.

However, in the closing moments, Onana leaped along the ground to see a shot pass the post, but as he stretched out his leg, the 27-year-old seemed to hurt his adductor muscle.

Tuesday is Cameroon’s match against Libya; however, it is unclear if he will be able to play. Following that, on Sunday, United will visit Everton. This marks the beginning of a challenging Premier League schedule that also includes matches against Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.

Since joining the Red Devils at Old Trafford in the summer for a reported £47 million, Onana has participated in every game for the Manchester based club. If a number of reports are accurate, he will also be playing at Goodison Park.

Fabrizio Romano reports, among other things, that Onana has a shoulder injury, but it doesn’t seem significant, and he should be well enough to play for United soon.

Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.

Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.

This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
