Manchester United Reach Agreement On Personal Terms With Brazilian Midfielder

The Real Madrid player has suddenly become a prime target for the Premier League giants who have reached an agreement with the Brazilian.

Manchester United emerged as a possible destination for Casemiro earlier this week when the news first broke.

The Brazilian midfielder who has been at Real Madrid since 2013 is really considering the offer from England.

Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira reports that Casemiro has reached personal agreements with Manchester United for a mega deal of €18m annually.

The journalist went on to say that the Red Devils have launched a €70m bid to Real Madrid and are awaiting response from the Spanish and European champions.

The 30 year old midfielder has been a mainstay in the Real Madrid midfield since his breakout season in 2015/2016 after returning on loan from FC Porto.

Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano went on to add that the former Sau Paulo player will have a conversation with head coach Carlo Ancelotti about his future in the coming hours.

Casemiro is a serial winner with Real Madrid and will add the much needed experience to the Manchester United midfield.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has reiterated that French midfielder Wesley Fofana is not for sale despite persistence from Chelsea.

The English manager said in his press conference ahead of Southampton’s visit to the King Power Stadium that no new bids have arrived for the 21 year old who has had two Chelsea bids rejected for him.

“I don’t think so far ahead,” Rodgers said, when asked if he thought Fofana would be at the club at the end of the transfer window.

“The idea is that he is very much a Leicester player. He’s not for sale. Unless anything changes, I would expect him to be here.

“There’s nothing new from when we last spoke. We’ve spoken numerous times they are private conversations. Our communication is normal.”

On how the situation is affecting his early-season preparations, Rodgers added: “There’s no denying it. It’s always a tricky period. Your season is starting, you’re trying to get focused, and you spend your summer creating this powerful collective unit, and then there is lots of speculation.

“These are young guys and it’s the first time they have experienced this for some of them. There can be disruption. The idea is to keep the group focused. The minute the window ends, it all ends.”

Chelsea are however confident they can complete a deal for the French youngster despite Leicester’s insistence on not selling their star.
