Throughout the 2023–24 season, the 19-year-old established himself as a key member of the Red Devils squad, making 32 appearances across all competitions, providing one assist while scoring five goals.

The present agreement between Mainoo and the club’s hierarchy is valid till 2027, but it has been reported that the Manchester based club are eager to open talks with the 19-year-old about extending his deal at Old Trafford, which would entail a bumper pay.

According to a recent report, the Catalan based club are reportedly considering offering Brazil’s Raphinha to Manchester United in exchange for Kobbie Mainoo, who is presently competing for England at the ongoing European Championship.
